Each stage of our website development process is explained below step-by-step:

Step 1 - CONTACT US
You can do this via email, telephone (0141 578 1636), or by filling in our enquiry form.

Step 2 - CONSULTATION
Once we have reviewed your initial enquiry, then we will discuss your requirements in detail. We define and agree the elements your website should consist of, including page structure, number of pages, logos, photos, graphics and documents, etc.

Step 3 - DESIGN SUMMARY & QUOTATION
Following the initial consultation, we will confirm your design requirements, related costs and anticipated development timescale in writing by issue of a formal written quotation - this will remain open for acceptance for 30 days.

Step 4 - PROJECT ACCEPTANCE & DEPOSIT PAYMENT
Once you have reviewed our design summary and quotation, and any necessary revisions/amendments have been made, then you may formally accept our quotation and instruct us to begin work on your website project. We will then agree a project start date and request that you submit any information / images / copy / etc that we need for the project. It is at this stage that the appropriate deposit must be paid to us - noting that this is non-refundable (but it will be deducted from your final bill/invoice).

Step 5 - DOMAIN NAME & WEB HOSTING
Upon acceptance and payment of deposit, the first administration step is that we will purchase your chosen domain name on your behalf - with your name / company name recorded as domain owner. We will also setup a new web hosting account for your website. Your hosting & domain fees will be payable annually beginning one year from this date.

Step 6 - OUTLINE 'LOOK & FEEL'
The first design step involves the production of a graphical design illustrating the 'look & feel' of your website. We will create a few (usually 2 or 3) graphic design mock-up options of the website homepage for you to review and comment on. Once you have chosen a preferred option, perhaps with some amendments, then we are ready to proceed to the next step (noting that the overall 'look & feel' of the website is now agreed and fixed).

Step 7 - DETAILED DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Once you have chosen the 'look & feel' option above and you have supplied your content material, we can then begin the actual website development. We will keep you informed of progress at all times, so that you may provide feedback at all stages of the website development. The website work-in-progress will be placed in a private server area so that you can access the site and monitor the development process.

Step 8 - FINAL TESTING
Although testing is performed during all stages of development, as the project nears completion the website will undergo final testing by both yourself and our design team. Site navigation, form functionality, order processing, etc will all be tested to ensure they operate perfectly and meet your requirements.

Step 9 - COMPLETION - GOING 'LIVE'
Once the final testing is completed and you have formally confirmed in writing that you are satisfied with the final website then the website is ready to be published 'live' on the internet. At this stage the the project is considered to be complete and our invoice will be issued (via email) for payment - Please note that the completed website will not be published 'live' until full payment has been received by us.

Step 10 - WEBSITE PROMOTION
Immediately following the website being published 'live' on the internet, we will make a range of one-off (free) submissions to a variety of search engines on your behalf.

OPTIONAL ONGOING REVISIONS / UPDATES
We can carry out one-off or regular revisions / updates / maintenance on your website. A website must be kept up-to-date to keep your clients coming back. We can make cost-effective changes to the content on your website to keep the content fresh and up-to-date - contact us for details.
